Hello there, welcome to Saturday Silks! We're up leveling your traditional collegiate merchandise by creating timeless accessories that maybe you'll pass down one day. The products we are known for are our silk Saturday Scarf™ and Twilly Scarf- they're what started this whole thing! They are wearable by fans of all ages and are guaranteed to last through your craziest, or laziest, of Saturdays. We've proudly shipped our silk scarves to collegiate fans in nearly every corner of the country and are sold in 150+ specialty boutiques across the south. 

Saturday Silks was founded in Houston, Texas by a mother, daughter, and aunt trio. We began designing and prototyping our very first scarf during 2020 quarantine (like many other small businesses!) and have created over 60 unique designs since then. When we're not designing our next collegiate collection, we'll dabble in custom work and have had the opportunity to create silk scarves for the Houston Texans, The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, The Junior League of Houston, and a Top Rated California Health Spa. Though collegiate is our heart center!

The quality of our scarves are unmatched in both craftsmanship and design. All scarves are made of 100% silk and feature original illustrations drawn by our Founder, Olivia. With each new school comes countless hours of research, design, and layout. Every scarf design merges trend and tradition while still displaying each university's logos, sayings, and colors. Oh, and did we mention our products are Officially Licensed?! They are truly a labor of love.

Our Founders

 

Olivia Brady

CEO  |  Designer

Olivia is a 2020 graduate from the University of Texas at Austin. She graduated with a BS in Advertising from the Moody College of Communications.

Post graduation, while at the same time designing and prototyping our very first scarf, Olivia became a Sales Associate for a local Houston boutique which exposed her to the world of retail and merchandising. She then furthered her design expertise by working for Highway 9 Consulting, an industrial sales and marketing agency, where she built brands, websites, and sales collateral for companies of all sizes across the nation.

A lot goes into the making of our scarves, and Olivia is the artist behind it. She hand illustrates each element and arranges them into show stopping designs. Her graphic design skills extend past our products, too, and into our packaging, website, and social media. Olivia is also the liaison for all our retail partners throughout the country and coordinates the sale, packaging, and fulfillment of all orders.

 

Cheryl Hellmann Brady

COO  |  Licensing Manager

Cheryl, Olivia's mom, likes to say she's where Olivia gets her creativity from.  Throughout the years Cheryl has dabbled in jewelry making, scrapbooking, and even picked up soap making one year for Olivia's birthday. She really is a jack of all trades!

Though she went to school for Finance and later became an Attorney, Cheryl has found new routes in promotional products. She self-owns a promotional products company called Golden Bee in Houston, TX, www.goldenbp.com, and is your go-to for any company or school branded event. 

Cheryl brings forth a knowledge of production through her deep web of supplier connections around the country and beyond. She arranges all the manufacturing, sampling, and restocking of our products as well as communicating with every University regarding Licensing rights and approvals.

 

Analise Hellmann

VP Product Development

Analise is Cheryl's younger sister by eleven months. Analise has 20+ years of experience in the fashion industry being a buyer, designer, and much more. She's lived in New York, St. Louis, LA, and even Prague. She previously had her own line of silk pajamas, fine linens and scarves.  

Analise's extensive technical knowledge of garment making has been crucial to the creation of our products. She is great at teaching Olivia and Cheryl the ins and outs of what goes into making silk accessories and has an endless collection of ideas for future product expansion.

Currently, Analise is living in Los Angeles working as a production set designer and her most recent project was for a hit ABC TV show. She enjoys shopping and making her own clothes in her spare time.
